This tutorial was made in PSP 8.1 but can be done in any version.
For this tutorial all you need is in the zip file which you can get Here
PLEASE NOTE, ALL LAYERS IN THE TUBE FILES ARE TURNED OFF.
Tubes are from Hans PSP Palace
You will also need the filters, penta.com Garbage Collections and Alien Skin Xenofex 2 This is a demo version which is fully functional for 30 days.
Bring up the background and the tubes in PSP and go to Layers view, view all.

Take this arrow with you to keep your place in this tutorial.

( 1 ) Open a new 700 x 500 transparent Image. Place you foreground on #061b20 and your background on #3a808c. In your foreground make a foreground-background linear gradient, angle 45 and repeats 1.

( 2 ) New layer. Selections, select all, copy the background, beautiful-sinbg and paste into your selection. Selections, select none.

( 3 ) New layer. Flood fill with your gradient. Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur set to 45.

( 4 ) Effects Plugins, penta.com, Jeans at default settings.

( 5 ) Effects Plugins, Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Burnt edges with default settings but use your foreground color as the burn color.

( 6 ) Effects 3d effects dropshadow with these settings, V & H 4, Opacity 100, Blur 5 and color #000000. Repeat with V & H at -4

( 7 ) New Layer. Selections, select all, copy the background, beautiful-sinbg and paste into your selection. Selections, select none. Lower the opacity of this layer to 50.

( 8) Take your preset shape tool with these settings, Shape, Ellipse, Create as Vector ticked, Line Style +Solid, Width 10. Close off your background color and draw an ellipse to cover almost all of the burnt edges layer. Objects align, center in canvas. Convert to a raster layer.

( 9 ) Take you magic wand and click inside this ellipse. Selections modify and expand by 4.

( 10 ) New Layer, layers arrange move down and paste into selection (Your background will still be in the memory) Selections, select none. Layers, Merge, Merge Down.

( 11 ) Back to the top layer (your ellipse) and apply this Inner bevel. Bevel 2, Width 15, Smoothness 15, Depth 9, Ambience -15, Shininess 6, Angle 315, Intensity 33, Color #ffffff and Elevation 90.

(12 ) Copy the tube HJR_GothicWoman_05Jan2008 and paste as a new layer onto your image. Image resize by 75% all layers unchecked and again by 70%. Sharpen. Place the blend mode on LuminanceL. Place her to the bottom right (see my image)

(13 ) Effects 3d Effects, Dropshadow with these settings, V-4 & H 18 Opacity 66, Blur 6 and color #000000.

( 14 ) Copy the tube HJR_Gothic_BookOfDarkness_03February2008 and paste as a new layer onto your image. Image resize by 95%, all layers unchecked. Sharpen. Place the blend mode on LuminanceL. Place it to the left (see my image)

( 15 ) Effects 3d Effects, Dropshadow with these settings, V-4 & H -18 Opacity 66, Blur 6 and color #000000.

( 16 ) Click on layer 3 and with your Eraser tool set to size 45, hardness 100 and opacity 100 wipe away the marks on the book and the lady but not from her right shoulder as you look at her.

(17 ) Click on your top layer. Copy the tube beautiful-sin-words and paste as a new layer onto your image. Resize by 75% all layers unchecked. Place it at the bottom of the book. Take your deform tool and turn it slightly so the word Beautiful all sits at the bottom of the book (see my image) Place the blend mode on LuminanceL.

(18 ) Selections, select all, selections float, selections defloat. New layer, layers arrange move down, flood fill this selection with your background color. Selections select none. Layers Merge, Merge All.

( 19 ) Image add borders 2 with your background color.

( 20 ) Image add borders 10 with your foreground color. Select this border with your magic wand, effects plugins penta.com Jeans with the default settings. Selections, select none.

( 21 ) Image add borders 2 with your background color.

( 22 ) Resize your image and sharpen,. Place your name on it if you wish and you are finished.
