Glimpse Of Heaven Signature Tag Tutorial By Marleschka

This tutorial was made in PSP 8.1 but can be done in any version.
For this tutorial you will need 2 tubes, a mask and a text brush, and you can get the ones I used Here. Of course if you wish to use your own then please do. You will also need the filter Filters Unlimited2.
Place the mask in your masks folder. Bring up the brush in PSP and go to file, export custom brush, name it 'glimpse-of-heaven' and hit OK. Bring up the tubes in PSP

Take this arrow with you to keep your place in this tutorial.

( 1 ) Open a new 600 x 450 transparent Image. Place you foreground on #7A7CAE, your background on #DDF0DE. In your foreground make a gradient of foreground-background, style linear, Invert checked, angle and repeats 0.

( 2 ) New layer. Flood fill with this gradient.

( 3 ) Effects, Filters Unlimited, Paper Textures and choose Filter Paper with the intesity set to 65.

( 4 ) Effects, Filters Unlimited, Buttons & Frames and choose 3D Glass Frame 1 with the frame size set to 10.

( 5 ) New Layer and flood fill with #DDF0DE

( 6 ) New Layer and take your selection tool and go to Custom Selection with these settings, Left & Top 0, Right 600 and Bottom 320 and hit OK.

( 7 ) Flood fill this selection with this Gradient. Just change the Background Color to #0A580A. Keep the selection.

( 8 ) New Layer and flood fill with #DDF0DE. Keep the selection.

( 9 ) Layers, Load Save Mask, Load Mask From Disc and find the mask glimpse-of-heaven, with these settings checked. Source Luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask. Hit Load.

( 10) Layers merge, merge group. Selections, select none.

( 11 ) Layers merge, merge down. Effects 3D Effects dropshadow with these settings, Vertical 5 Horizontal 0, Opacity 65, Blur 15 Color Black.

( 12 ) Layers merge, merge down.

( 13 ) Effects, Filters Unlimited, Edges Square and choose Square Edge 13. Hit Apply.

( 14 ) Effects 3D Effects dropshadow with these settings, Vertical 1 Horizontal 1, Opacity 65, Blur 10 Color Black.

( 15 ) Go to the tube Susan T 2467 and resize by 75%. Copy.

( 16 ) Paste as a new layer onto your image.

( 17 ) Take your eraser tool with these settings size 90, Hardness 0, Opacity 50 and erase away his hat. Place him toward the right top. (See my image)

( 18 ) Go to the tube Yoka-Ladyinjeans300706-small and resize to a height of 400 pixels. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your image. Place her to the left bottom. (See my image)

( 19 ) Effects 3D Effects dropshadow with these settings, Vertical -1 Horizontal -5, Opacity 65, Blur 15 Color Black.

( 20 ) Layers merge visible.

( 21 ) New Layer. Go to your brush and find the brush you saved at the beginning of this tutorial, size 205 (or use one of your own)

( 22 ) With your foreground on #BEBFD8 stamp the brush on your image. Place it at the bottom. (See my image) Place the Blend Mode on Hard Light.

( 23 ) Effects 3D Effects dropshadow with these settings, Vertical 1 Horizontal 1, Opacity 100, Blur 3.95 Color #4E4F82.

( 24 ) Repeat the dropshadow but change the opacity to 65 and the color to black.

( 25 ) Layers Merge Visible. Place your name on it if you wish. Save as a jpg and you are finished. I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.
